Even though I have seen hundreds of deer by now there is still something magical about an early morning sighting of a magnificent deer emerging from the mist. They are so swift it is difficult to capture a good image of them - this charcoal drawing is from a favorite photograph by photographer Wes Walters. I've drawn this deer more than once fascinated by the ethereal quality of the deer emerging into the light but this rendering is my favorite.
The drawing is on acid free, archival paper. It will be shipped flat, backed and matted but not framed. We love to see the drawings hung in simple black frames but this drawing and matte will fit into any standard 11" x 14" frame of your choice.
